Thornheart was almost taken aback but murmured, "I am not your mother, but I am here to watch over you." She began cleaning the kit's wounds again, soothing her with her warm tongue.

She had a questioned look on her face. "Who is StarClan, and what are clans?" She mewed calmly. "Who am I?" Her mother didn't call her anything but 'Beautiful' what ever that meant..
