Lightshower jumped over the log with ease. She smiled and lifted her nose to the air to scent any prey. Her mouth fell open so the scents could glide over her glands. Her ears pricked and her eyes narrowed. Her head snapped back to normal and she approached with caution. A vole was scuffling near by. Light on her paws and as quick as the wind she krept up on the oblivious vole. She jumped on it and with a swiff bite to the neck it lay limp in her paws. She scraped earth over it and looked up once again to Thornheart.

Thornheart had finally strangled the idiotic rabbit. It stopped wiggling and fell limp. She buried it.

Lightshower smiled to Thornheart. She blinked and her ears twitched. She looked behind her to see a mouse only tail lengths away. Light on her paws she turned around and did a long distance pounce. She landed on the mouse with her full body weight, and it seemed to crush the living creature. Just to be sure, Lightshower broke the neck of the already dead mouse. She burried it and looked around for perhaps a squirell.

Thornheart spied a lazy blackbird pecking away at some berries. She hid in the bush and sprang out at the unsuspecting creature. The bird struggled in her mouth, so Thornheart bit in deeper. It went limp.

Lightshower jumped up in exightment and landed softly on her feet. Her sences alert she darted off in a direction and dissapeared behind some ferns. Moments later she came back with a rabbit in her mouth. She burried the rabbit. Something caught her eye and she ran up the tree to get it. Only escaping Lightshowers jaws the furry tailed squirell scurried to saftey. Lightshadow jumped to the ground and sighed. "All well. Better luck next time." She said aloud to herself.
